Giving information, Madurai District Superintendent of Police Arvind said that the incident took place when a speeding SUV rammed into a vehicle at Sivarakottai near Thirumangalam on the Virudhunagar-Madurai Highway. Collided with a moped.
The official further said that four of the five deceased belonged to the same family and were residents of Vilapuram area of Madurai.
