HARYANA NEWS HUB (Bureau): Firing took place in South Edmonton city of Canada on Monday. Two people, including a man of Indian origin, died in this incident.
The Indian-origin man has been identified as Buta Singh Gill, owner of Edmonton-based Gill Built Homes. This incident was reported by Canada based CTV News Edmonton.
"At approximately 12:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024, South-West Branch patrol officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Cavanagh Boulevard SW and Cherniak Way SW," City of Edmonton Police said.
Two people died in the incident:
Police further said that when officers arrived, they discovered three injured men. Of which two men, a 49-year-old and a 57-year-old, died. So there, a 51-year-old man was found seriously injured. Police said an autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
